Do you use any preservatives in your cakes?
Cake Bar Cakes are made for scratch with fresh eggs, and butter we do not use preservatives, soy or shortenings
Do you have any gluten free cakes?
Sorry but no. All our cakes have gluten.
Do you take special orders and decorations?
We do not do sculpture cakes or tiered cakes. We do dessert cakes only. We bake every day and decorate our cakes every day.
How long do your cakes last?
The cakes last up to 5 days of purchase. All cakes are best at room temperature. Butter cream cakes do not have to be refrigerated. Cakes that have cream cheese icing can be refrigerate before serving. They should come to room temperature 5 to 6 hours before serving. Please do not refrigerate leftover cake; this will dry the cake out. For longer storage, our cakes can be frozen by completely being wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in food container with lid.
Are some cakes more unique than others?
Some of our cakes are made the old fashion way, our Wedding Cake and Old Fashion Chocolate cake is a butter based cake, it is denser than most cakes.
What's your most popular cake?
Our Strawberry Cake is our most popular and during March to September we use fresh strawberries when they are in season, we cut strawberries fresh every day, this cake with fresh strawberries should be consumed the same day or strawberries removed.
Can I order by phone?
Yes! However, all orders over the phone must be paid in advance to reserve the cake. Due to weekend demand Cake Bar does not answer the phone from Friday 6pm through Sunday. Best time to call is Tues through Fri till 6pm.
Can I pickup on the same day I order?
We can not do same day order on sheet cakes, 48 hour notice please.
We can do same day order for slices and pre-made 5" and 8" round cakes but we recommend you call ahead.
Can I prepay an order for slices?
We usually do not prepay or take orders for slices because of lack of space to hold a lot of slices.
How many cakes can I order?
Online orders we limit 7 each cake per day.
