Do you use any preservatives in your cakes?

Cake Bar Cakes are made for scratch with fresh eggs, and butter.  We do not use preservatives or shortenings.

Do you have any gluten free or sugar free cakes?

No.

Do you make custom cake?

We do not make custom cakes or tiered cakes.

How long do your cakes last?

Your cake is best enjoyed no longer than 5 days after purchase.  All cakes, except the Wedding or Neapolitan, should be kept in the refrigerator until ready to serve. 

Cakes should be eaten at room temperature.  Take your cake out of the refrigerator 3 to 4 hours before serving. 

Sliced cake will dry out in the refrigerator so put any leftovers in an airtight container. 

For longer storage, our cakes can be frozen by wrapping them in plastic wrap and placing them in a food container with lid.

Are some cakes more unique than others?

Some of our cakes are made the old fashion way, our Wedding Cake and Old Fashion Chocolate cake is a butter-based cake, it is denser than most cakes.

What's your most popular cake?

Our Strawberry Cake is our most popular.

Can I order by phone?

We have online ordering. Please call with special requests or questions.

Can I pick up on the same day I order?

We cannot do same day order on sheet cakes; 48 hours notice please.

We can do same day order for slices and pre-made 5" and 8" round cakes, but we recommend you call ahead.

Can I prepay an order for slices?

We usually do not prepay or take orders for slices because of lack of space to hold a lot of slices.
